Austin de Maillé is a mechanical engineer and project manager with several years of experience developing electromechanical products for a range of industries, which include medical devices, healthcare robotics, consumer electronics, and marine robotics. His design experience covers the entire product development lifecycle from early concept through final production. He thrives in setting team direction and constantly seeks new skills and knowledge that further his ability to co-create beautiful solutions to complex problems.
Austin is a Leaders for Global Operations Fellow at MIT, receiving a dual MS in Mechanical Engineering & Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He also has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
When not working, Austin can be found in the mountains testing his homemade backpacking equipment or in a lesser-known dive bar listening to stand-up spoken word.
